FALL 2016 BREAKFAST: COMMUNITY HEROES: CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRY

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2016 – 7:30AM

Stepping beyond our traditional panel discussions, QF will celebrate our community heroes in the 2016-2017 season, featuring one-on-one interviews with captains of industry, public servants and nonprofit leaders. These discussions will trace the origins of success and enable you to learn firsthand how to build a life of significance. After the conclusion of each formal interview, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and create a thoughtful dialogue with your fellow Members as you consider your own journey in community leadership.

We are honored to kick off our Community Heroes series on November 3 with Captain of Industry Hero Jerre Stead and Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne.

Jerre Stead is the Chairman and CEO of IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO), a Denver-based $15.8 billion world leader in critical information, analytics and solutions for the major industries and markets that drive economies worldwide. In addition to being a QF Vanguard Member, Jerre has led a life of building great companies, taking IHS public in 2005, leading the $13 billion merger with Markits in 2016 and serving on over 30 corporate boards throughout his career. Jerre’s life of leadership, humility and community impact, based from his headquarters in Denver, will be a captivating and inspiring story as he reveals his ‘secrets to success and fulfillment.’

Jerre will be interviewed by Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne. Donna Lynne, DrPH, was sworn in as Colorado’s 49th Lieutenant Governor and Chief Operating Officer on May 12, 2016. Dr. Lynne previously served as the executive vice president of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, and as group president responsible for its Colorado, Pacific Northwest and Hawaii regions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Political Science), a Masters of Public Administration, and Doctor of Public Health from Columbia University. Stepping beyond our traditional panel discussions, QF will celebrate our community heroes in the 2016-2017 season, featuring one-on-one interviews with captains of industry, public servants and nonprofit leaders. Today's Quarterly Forum is Tomorrow's Civico.

Exciting new changes are coming soon!

In 1999, Quarterly Forum (QF) was founded to provide a place for emerging executives to dream more, learn more, do more and become more while coordinating civic activities amongst its members.

Today, our mission is to educate, inspire and connect the next generation of community leaders from the public, private and social sectors who together will build new levels of leadership capacity for future generations.

And in 2019, big changes are coming. While our mission will remain the same, the future of the organization is more exciting than ever. Check back soon for updates and announcements.
