QUARTERLY FORUM ANNOUNCES NEW CEO
Growing Community Leadership Organization appoints Ashely Buderus as leader for the future.
DENVER, JUNE 30, 2017: Quarterly Forum (QF), the non-partisan, not-for-profit community leadership organization in Colorado, announced the appointment of Ashley Buderus as Chief Executive Officer. Effective July 1, 2017, Buderus will lead strategy and operations of the organization.
“QF has experienced tremendous growth over the last two years and required an executive leader to elevate the organization as we expand. Ashley is not only a well-respected non-profit executive, but she embodies the values and aspirations of our future,” said Ryan Heckman, QF Co-Chairman.
Buderus is uniquely qualified to lead QF’s efforts to scale its impact and become Colorado’s premier membership organization for community leaders. Over the past ten years, this Colorado native has served in leadership proles for some of the state’s most prestigious organizations, including El Pomar Foundation, the University of Denver, and Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation.
Ms. Buderus has also served on nonprofit boards, including El Pomar Foundation and Rocky Mountain Active 20-30, and she regularly is a speaker at national nonprofit conferences on emerging trends in philanthropy. Prior to accepting her new role with QF, Buderus was the philanthropy director of gift planning at Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. In this role, she worked with the region’s top business and nonprofit leaders to structure their philanthropic endeavors.
“I am honored to join Quarterly Forum as CEO. QF is a dynamic organization that has successfully evolved to cultivate our state’s next generation of leaders. We are at an inflection point for growth and state-wide impact. I am excited to build upon the current foundation and to continue to connect, inspire and empower our state’s leaders” said Buderus.
With an 18-year history of convening and developing leadership at the intersection of the business, government and non-for-profit sectors, Quarterly Forum has expanded programs and membership dramatically over the past three years. Such programs include the Colorado Governors Fellowship program, the Colorado Governors Citizenship Award, and partner programs with McKinsey & Associates and The Barton Institute at the University of Denver. Over the past three years, QF membership has grown from about 30 members to nearly 200 members.
“Quarterly Forum is developing leadership capacity in the state of Colorado. We’re pulling together many of the best minds, from all sectors, to create a network of leaders who can create meaningful and enduring positive impact for our future”, said Governor John Hickenlooper, who is a Founder of the organization.
